High Court deplores lack of amenities in Courts to handle Emergency situtations

A practicing Lawyer had died last week in Court Complex.

On Wednesday, the Delhi HC expressed dismay over absence of basic facilities, like stretchers and ambulance, to deal with emergency situations.

The issue popped up after a lawyer suffered a cardiac arrest in the Delhi High Court last week & died after reaching the nearby hospital.

A Bench of Justice BD Ahmed has asked a petitioner , Pankaj Yadav, journalist to move an application highlighting all the facts with regard to need of basic infrastructure to avoid such incidents in future.
