Royal Faisal Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah was found guilty of premediated murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
Today Kuwait State-run KUNA news agency announced that State has hanged seven prisoners, including a Royal family member, in a mass execution.
Other executed prisoners includes a Bangladeshi, a Filipina, an Ethiopian, two Kuwaitis and two Egyptians.
The royal is identified as Faisal Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah who was convicted of premediated murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
Royal was held guilty of the Murder of his nephew Prince Shaikh Basil Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, in 2010. Deceased Prince had been shot several times at close range at the Maseelah Palace.
Deceased Prince was the son of the country’s former Ambassador to the United States Sheikh Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah.
Department of Foreign Affairs of Philippines, spokesman Charles Jose identified the executed Filipina as Jakatia Pawa, who was guilty of killing her employer’s daughter.
It was in 2013 that last known executions were carried out in Kuwait, when a Pakistani, a Saudi and a man without citizenship ie “Bidoon” were hung.
