Justice SN Dhingra Commission which was set up by Haryana Government to probe into the controversial land deals that took place in Gurgaon, involving Robert Vadra, has submitted its report today.
Commission was set up in May,2015, and it was asked to probe Mr. Robert Vadra and his firm’s land deals, which the BJP had alleged violated State Laws.
The panel was further asked to probe into the granting of the licenses to Robert Vadra’s Company and other firms for developing commercial projects in Gurgaon and other prime areas.
Justice Dhingra while addressing the Press Conference stated that he has brought to light the manner in which the irregularities were committed by the people who are behind it.
The scope of the Dhingra commission was further expanded in August,2015 wherein it was asked to probe the grant of all licenses to the colonisers and individuals in four villages of Gurgaon by Previous Congress Government in Haryana.
The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) had earlier pointed out by stating that Vadra’s firm, Skylight Hospitality, had not submitted its documents on the financial adequacy. Despite that, firm was granted the licence.
